SONRISE MARINA, SANDUSKY OHIO, LAKE ERIE
SUMMER HOME FOR CREATIVE TOUCH 2001

Arrived Saturday June 9th 2001 at 8:40am in Sandusky Bay, Lake Erie. We lucked out and found a very nice Marina with open slips that allowed us to do monthly slip rentals. A rare occurrence. It's brand new and very elaborate. Floating concrete docks, modern power pedestals, oak cabinets in the showers, etc.. The community room (kind of like Harbor Cay in Marathon) has a large TV, coffee, refrigerator, munchies and lounging area. It overlooks Cedar Point amusement park so we get their light show every night. Though our cell phones still work, the summer "landline" telephone at the slip is 419-624-1316.  - I can't say enough good things about the parent company "Hoyt" who runs this and other marinas in the area. The management and employees uniformly at all their locations are as helpful and genuinely friendly as they can be.
