Hi Greg & Lisa,
Sounds like you are at one end of Canada, and we are at the other end. Can't
get here by boat though.
After passing Seattle, we continued north and east, and have just left Prince
George, British Columbia, and stopped at Mackenzie, BC. A neat little
town.
Have been spending anywhere from a couple days to a week at each stop, and
having a wonderful time.
From here to Dawson Creek, which is the beginning of the Alaska Highway, and
with a group of other RV'ers, will spend 6 weeks touring BC, Alberta, Yukon,
and Alaska. We are really looking forward to the trip.
Of course you remember our pretty (little) red Ford dually. It was fine in
the flatlands of FL, GA, AL, MS, LA, and South TX, but too small for the
mountains out west. So we traded it for an International medium duty
truck.
It is like a baby semi, and does a wonderful job pulling the trailer.
Yes, we still have LETITIA. She is presently sitting in a marina in New
Orleans, probably feeling unwanted and unloved. Our children will
sometimes
stop by to visit her, but not much. Hope we will get back this winter for
a
little cruising.
Enjoy your travels, and keep us posted. It is always to hear from our
boating friends from our former life.
... Attached is a picture of the new
truck. It doesn't look big at all in front
of the world's biggest tree crusher. Picture was taken a few days ago in
Mackenzie, British Columbia, Canada
As always,
Dave & Tish
